To assist those who are concerned about their ability either to do the academic work or find the time, we have produced an introductory course designed to lead students into the world of study. This way students can find out without spending a great deal of money.

In February 2005 we launched an access module. This pre-Certificate level module is intended for students who might feel ill-prepared to begin theological studies at level 4 (Certificate level). It endeavours to introduce students to the disciplines of study and academic theology. Although this module conforms to the Online style and philosophy we have adopted, it is our view that it will be very valuable for all students beginning theological study. We expect that a good number of our full-time students (along with those starting theological study at other institutions) will want to take this module before formally beginning their academic courses.

This module is not compulsory for students beginning a programme of Online studies with us, but it is highly recommended.
