Hi,
I am stuck over halfway in the second module "introduction to Paul" as I am suffering greatly with health issues with my hands. The Dr believes I am suffering with Arthritis, at 35?, anyway, even typing this message is causing pains. Until I can see the specialist on the 2nd July I will not know for sure what is causing these problems, until then I am on simple medication that does not do much, so the specialist will, hopefully, prescribe something that enables me to use my hands pain free so I can get back to studying with Spurgeons.
Is there any advice until the 2nd of July to assist with studies?
God bless you and keep you well
Alan Burrows
So sorry to hear about thsi Alan. I do hope the pain subsides and that you can find constructive things to do with your time in the meantime. Obviously you can get a lot of reading done but I realise that this is difficult when you cannot make notes. You could think about recording orally your thoughts and reflections though...if you think this is a good option for you there is no reason why you should not ask for special permission to submit an oral learning journal so you can crack on with your module even though you might leave the assignment writing til a later point. Again, if the health issues persist past July we could apply for special permission for alternative assessment methods so you do not need to complete the written assignments. So keep us in touch with how things are for you and we will do all we can to help and assist you. With very best wishes and our prayers, Debra
Hi Alan
Keep your chin up - you've all my sympathy.
I'm in a similar boat and haven't been able to do anything meaningful for over four weeks. I have a problem with my neck which is aggravated by driving and using the mouse - I am hoping it will settle down whilst we are on New Wine Conference in a few weeks time (away from the computer and the car!)
Will pray for you,
Blessings
Helen
