I mentioned in my session at the Residential week that this years Lyman Beecher lectures were being given by Eugene Lowry.

There are now online - I have viewed the first one and found it fascinating.  Lowry responds to some critics of Narrative preaching and makes a good attempt at redefining his terms.  Can be seen at http://www.yale.edu/divinity/video/convo2009/beecher01.shtml

What is especially interesting is what Lowry has to say about his own attempts at adapting his homiletical loop.
