I am about to begin the Access Module, and am curious as to how many On-Line Students are from the USA?.
I was born in the UK, and migrated to the USA over 20 years ago. I became a Christian in the USA, and now serve at a large Church in Dallas, Texas, as an Associate Minister and Sunday School Teacher.
I have always wanted to have a proper Theological education, but have been deterred by the costs of Seminary, and the commitment of time involved, even though here in Dallas there are some wonderful Seminaries and Bible Schools. Consequently, much of my teaching has been somewhat spotty, a class here and a session there and much of my knowledge of the Bible has basically been through self paced and private study.
It would be nice if perhaps those of us who are taking Spurgeon's online classes here in the USA, could share our experiences, and have on-line study buddies, for mutual encouragement, support and of course prayer.

Glad to see you here. I grew up in the US (Ohio), was in the service and have lived most of my adult life in the southeast. I have two adult children. I am currently in Atlanta. I am a banker, and my faith has been rejuvenated over the past couple of years. I always wanted a formal seminary training myself but I am doing this because I believe it is what God wants me to do. Where does it lead other than to His glory as making me a better equipped follower of Christ.....I don't know. But I am sure He will let me know in his time.
Like you I found Spurgeons program very affordable and I have been very impressed with the courses. I completed Reading and Understanding the Bible, and now a little over half way on Paul.
